When I was hired as a Community Manager for Warner Bros. Games’ mobile game DC Legends, the community was neglected and hungry for communication. Known by my alias Jensen, I worked tirelessly to turn the community around by communicating every change, responding to both positive and negative comments when it was appropriate, writing announcements for all of our bug fixes and game updates, and making sure I gained the community’s trust.

I had to earn the community’s trust by understanding all of the complex mechanics and terms of the mobile game, and I made sure to stay on top of timely communication efforts so that most everyone felt heard and seen. In the end, I helped grow the player base into a positive and inspiring community.
